Previously I posted a recipe for liverwurst pill pockets (which you can find here) but this time I wanted to try one that was a bit less fatty. I found a recipe for a peanut butter one which seemed simple enough, but it just created a goopy sloppy mess where just straight peanut butter would have been easier to handle.
So after some tweaking, and a taste test from Stuart, we have a paws up version!
- What you’ll need:
- 1 tablespoon smooth peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon milk (I used goat milk since it is easier to digest, but you can use regular cow’s milk).
- 2 tablespoons flour
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Dusting your fingers with more flour, form into balls. I used a chopstick to create the “pockets.” Store in the refrigerator and voila! Cheap, easy and tasty pill pockets.
